Volunteers of America would like to thank the following organizations for their support:

MLB Players Trust logo The Major League Baseball Players Trust and Volunteers of America have worked in partnership since 2002 to benefit people in need and encourage others to get involved to help children, at-risk youth and families. The partnership has resulted in a youth volunteer initiative in which players lead local Action Teams whose mission is to inspire high school students to become volunteers in their communities. Through the Trust the players provide funding and make public appearances to raise awareness about Volunteers of America's services. Scholastic Books Volunteers of America has worked with Scholastic, the global children's book publisher, since 1999. Volunteers of America participates in the Scholastic Book Grants Program, a corporate in-kind giving program that provides high-quality reading materials to the nation's neediest young people. Volunteers of America local offices distribute hundreds of thousands of free Scholastic books in their programs and in their communities each year.

Family Strengthening Awards Program logo

The Volunteers of America / Annie E. Casey Foundation is designed to recognize, encourage, and extend the influence of Volunteers of America programs that take innovative approaches to strengthening families. A grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation provides three winning family strengthening programs each year with $20,000 to enhance and support their program models. The grant also provides resource to conduct trainings in order to allow other local offices to learn about and replicate the best practices.

Juice Plus logo NSA®, the maker of Juice Plus ®, has been a strong supporter of Volunteers of America since 1988, helping us deliver community programs that deal with today's most pressing social needs, from child daycare to homeless outreach to low income housing. NSA has organized and encouraged volunteer initiatives for their employees to provide direct volunteer services in local communities. Visit http://www.juiceplus.com/nsa/pages/Home.soa?ref=voa.
