VOA Illinois serves children in foster care, and provides affordable housing for the frail, elderly, and Veterans who are homeless or in serious instability. We are in our second century of service, we are part of a network that is one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive human services organization in the United States and we will continue helping America’s most vulnerable for years to come.

Veteran Services
Helping Veterans discover their full potential and achieve their dreams is the program model for our Veterans.
Youth Services
We serve more than 200 children every year, helping them secure save, nurturing homes and other important services that ensure happy, healthy lives.
Elderly
Our supportive, high-quality housing communities provide our elderly residents and younger adults with disabilities, with an opportunity to live with dignity and independence in a place of their own.
Housing Assistance
We provide year-round shelter and housing-focused case management, education training, job training, referral services, behavioral health treatment services and more to men, women, and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Income Assistance
We offer programs for individuals, families, and Veterans who are struggling, in crisis or at-risk of serious instability in their lives.
